About the event
JOIN US,
On a morning walk through the woods and meadows.Â
Learn to identify and use local herbs with Master Herbalist and ecologist Emma Day of Black Spruce Herbals.
Come along as we explore a different Duluth park each month and meet local edible and medicinal plants along our city's beautiful trail systems. We will be discussing how to properly identify, ethically harvest, and enjoy the medicinal benefits of the native plants and trees of our bioregion.
No experience necessary. Cost per walk: $20/adult. Kids under 12 come free, families welcome. Make sure to  bring everything you will need to be out on the trails comfortably for 90 minutes - comfy walking shoes, sun protection, bug protection, water bottles, snacks, etc. as well as a notebook to take notes. We most likely won't actually be walking that far, as we'll stop often to look at and talk about herbs along the way.
