The First 40 Days: Nourished In Person Postpartum Care Our culture sets the expectation for an exhausted, draining, and overwhelming postpartum experience. Yet, in many other cultures the world over it is known that nourishing and tending to a new mother was foundational to the health of the community. Mothers are the radiant channels for life, the beautiful containers for creation. The children we birth are the future. Thus, contributing to the thriving of mothers is of service to us all. After giving birth, we as mothers are open on every level — physically, emotionally, hormonally, spiritually, ancestrally. This is a sacred time. To receive profound healing and nourishment, To reweave our stories and relationships, To cultivate whole-woman wellness and vitality, To set the stage for a peaceful and enjoyable parenthood. Our Postpartum Care offerings were crafted in the spirit of love and devotion to the flourishing of our community by empowering and nurturing women as they integrate into new motherhood. The First 40 Days investment: $1200 The First 40 days package includes: ✦ 90 MINUTE IN-HOME POSTPARTUM PLANNING SESSION > Begin creating a postpartum plan to support your thriving. > Learn how to nourish and tend to your body through traditional postpartum practices, food, and herbal support. > Receive in depth information about the benefits and how to: sitz baths, yoni steaming, castor oil packs, abhyanga massage, ceremonial bodywork, ritual for integration, and more. > Choose which 3 herbal remedies you’d like to receive in your Mother Healing basket (list will be shared with you). *Specific customized remedies can be included as an add-on.* ✦ WEEKLY 2 HOUR IN-HOME VISITS (6 total) > Preparation of an herbal sitz bath, yoni steam, or foot soak as desired. > A warm and nourishing meal prepared in your home. *More add on options available for snacks, teas, broths, etc.* > Wise woman companionship, witnessing, and support that centers the mother > Light cleaning and household organizational tasks, child-care, etc. Additional services included in weekly visits if desired: ❁ Birth story processing and integration ❁ Resources on breastfeeding, safe co-sleeping, cloth diapering, elimination communication (EC), pelvic organ prolapse, and more ❁ Local and virtual referrals ❁ Herbal knowledge and reference ❁ Availability via texting, phone and email from the time of hire through 6 weeks postpartum ❁ Access to lending library
